Networking is all about building win-win partnerships that last a lifetime, where both parties provide value to each other. Networking is the most important tool you have in your professional advancement toolbox because it is the only means by which you can access hidden jobs or perhaps even create your dream job from scratch. But most people don’t realize that networking begins, ends, and indeed requires an attitude of generosity, where I am looking to see how I can help you and add value, not get something from you. In this presentation, we will discuss what exactly networking is, and how to actually “do” networking effectively with this spirit of generosity that enables everyone to achieve their goals.
