(310c) Advancing Technology Though Measurement Science

The mission of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life. We do this by working in close partnership with US industry to build the technical infrastructure needed for advancing technology. In this presentation, I will highlight successful examples pf this partnership from the nSoft consortium and the Materials Genome Initiative.
