(137a) How Effective Collaboration Boosts Commercialization of Innovation?

During the process of new product development and commercialization, effective collaboration offers many advantages, including diverse opinions that lead to innovative solutions, enhanced productivity, and a strong sense of purpose. Dow enables and encourages effective collaborations across multiple functions to better deliver innovations for the customers’ needs. In this presentation, two successful product commercializations, i.e. additives for wood treating, and sustainable defoamers for food fermentation, will be presented. These examples demonstrate how collaboration played a crucial role in bringing these products from ideation to market. In addition, several on-going collaborations with national labs and universities to address industrial technical challenges will also be discussed. By combining our internal expertise with external knowledge and resources, we can push the boundaries of innovation further and deliver impactful solutions to our customers.
