(211d) Adventures in Ionic Liquids: 20 Years of Gas Separation Membranes and Polymer Science

Authors

Bara, J. - Presenter, University of Alabama
This talk will highlight Rich Noble's work in the study of ionic liquids (ILs) in gas separations - from the understanding properties of the bulk liquids and applying this knowledge to the evolution to poly(ionic liquid) gas separation membranes. The talk will also discuss how poly(ionic liquid) materials continue to evolve and have applications in self-healing materials, additive manufacturing, and upcycling of plastic waste.
