(2ku) A Systems Approach Towards Reconciling Single-Cell Heterogeneity and Cell Phenotype in Health and Disease

I am a chemical engineer interested in applying engineering principles towards understanding complex biological systems in the context of disease pathology I have developed expertise in Systems Biology approaches that identify gene regulatory networks driving the dynamics of heterogeneous cell populations at the single-cell level. I am interested in developing and applying methodologies to to identify underlying regulatory mechanisms and principles that govern cell population dynamics in health and diseases like cancer.
