Multi-fidelity multiphysics OLGA-CD-adapco Simulator for Flow Assurance

Flow Assurance engineers face a myriad of complex challenges: erosion, hydrate formation and predicting “no-touch time”, slugging frequencies, VIV and VIM, and many more. Meeting these challenges requires a versatile, validated toolset, to use the right tool for the job. With this goal in mind, CD-adapco and SPT have partnered to couple their industry leading analysis solutions - STAR-CCM+ and OLGA – to provide a multi-fidelity, multiphysics simulation tool for flow assurance applications. This presentation will outline the coupling, and provide validated examples of its use in industry.
