State of the Art Multiphase Flow Prediction

Steady state multiphase prediction correlations and models are widely used in the design and operation of many wells, flow lines and facilities. A historical perspective on the steady state multiphase flow prediction will be given. Currently accepted “Mechanistic Modeling Approach” will be presented and analyzed. Projections on further improvement of steady state multiphase flow models will be made.
