The catalytic conversion of natural gas in a membrane reactor is studied experimentally and analytically/computationally. Few chemical configurations of membrane reactors are employed and studied in terms of performance in yield and selectivity into syngas and methanol products. The reactions and reactors utilized to complete the conversion into methanol are analyzed from an experimental, and design-modeling point of view with the use of computational methods.
