(1b) Recommendations for AIChE's Energy Strategy

The CEC (Commission on Energy Challenges) was charged by the AIChE Board of Directors to consider whether AIChE, as a professional engineering society, should undertake a significant program to address the complex technical, sociological, economic and sustainability issues of energy production, usage, and conservation. They were also charged to recommend the type of activities and projects that would most likely be of beneficial impact, taking into consideration the specific strengths, resources, and limitations of AIChE. The CEC Recommendations will be presented at the Critical Issues Series: Energy.
