Dr. Jeffrey Siirola, Technology Fellow of Eastman Chemical Company and current AIChE Past President, will begin with a case study analyzing the biomass growing process including soil and water, feedstock options, transport, biomass processing, fate of co-products, ethanol blending, and transport to the end use. A life cycle analysis approach will be incorporated into the presentation.
