Modeling has made great strides in understanding the combustion process. This session will include papers on modeling for understanding combustion, formation of pollutants during combustion and mitigation of pollutants. Impending clean air act is giving new impetus to better understanding of the formation of pollutants during combustion and how to mitigate them.
