(60a) Eight Ensembles in Treatment of Statistical Thermodynamics Classical Systems

The conventional statistical treatment of classical fluids usually focuses on isothermal ensembles in studying the thermodynamic of these systems. In this talk, I will outline the classfication of classical thermodynamics systems and their interrelationship by presenting eight different statistical thermodynamic ensembles. I will also address thermodynamics observables including response functions and their relationships to the microscopic variables defining molecular level driving forces in physico-chemical processes.
