Heat Exchanger Fouling: a Messy Business
Wednesday, April 25, 2007 - 9:25am to 9:50am
The traditional method of sizing heat exchangers often leads to unnecessarily large design margins that increase capital cost, footprint & weight and lead to poor operating efficiency. An alternative approach is proposed that is based on tackling the root causes of loss of performance and uses a revised design methodology to mitigate against fouling.
