Green chemistry is the design of chemical products and processes to reduce or eliminate the use or generation of hazardous substances. US EPA promotes green chemistry throughout the chemical enterprise with a variety of activities. This presentation will provide an introduction to the concept and principles of green chemistry as well as an overview of US EPA's Green Chemistry Program activities, including the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge.
