A detailed processing comparison study on 4 small-scale LNG plants in China, i.e., CII type in Shanghai Peakshaving LNG Plant, C3+MRC processing in Xinjiang Guang Hui Plant, PRICO technology in CNOOC Zhuhai LNG Plant and closed expander Loop one for XinAo Gas in Beihia, has been performed. An enexgy analysis has been made to illustrate ways for improving energy-efficiency and suggestions on small-scale LNG plant processing selection have been presented.
