Ethylene Plant Maintenance and Reliability Paper Session. Fluctuating product demand, along with feedstock and energy prices have resulted in a challenging environment for operators of Olefin producing plants. The impact of maintenance and reliability efforts to operate these plants safely, environmentally responsibly and profitably has never been greater. With this in mind, the Maintenance and Reliability Session consists of papers that address corrosion under insulation, hot tapping and line stopping, and a review of ethylene furnace isolation valves. Other papers review the manufacture of radiant cracking tubes, radiant coil spring hanger maintenance, and an industry wide survey of maintenance practices
