This paper will provide a detailed review of three key technologies for the capture of carbon from power plants. These are the Chilled Ammonia Process, Advanced Amine Capture, and Oxy-fired Combustion Process. The review program includes eleven demonstrations of various plant sizes and different fuels (coal, oil, and gas) . Several of these demonstrations also include sequestration to complete the technology package. The technologies can be utilized for existing (retrofit) plants and for new power plants.
