Chevron and Air Products have both leveraged an initiative by the Swan Associates test shop that ensures compatibility of their internal software used to manage their operations with the CCPS PERD software, designed to support value added analysis. The work process involves ?as found? proof test data being recorded as part of their QA work process by trained technicians, exporting applicable data, and subsequently importing the data to the CCPS PERD industry database where data from multiple companies is aggregated. This paper provides a generic overview of the work process, a specific look at the implementation within the user companies and a summary of the expected benefits as this effort continues.
