Discussion of guidelines to select and design baffle configurations for shell-and-tube heat exchangers. TEMA type baffles such as single-segmental, double-segmental, and No-Tubes-In-Windows (NTIW) are discussed along with newer baffle types such as helical, strip, and ROD-type baffles.
