This session will explore the benefits of professional volunteer and industrial involvement in K-12 Outreach, the need for professional volunteer and industrial involvement in K-12 Outreach, and current best practives in professional volunteer and industrial involvement in K-12 Outreachbest practices in K-12 outreach within AIChE. Submissions are welcome on both specific activities and programs. Emphasis on assessment of programs and activities as well as general lessons for future outreach efforts is encouraged. This session is to be held Tuesday morning or early afternoon, and will be followed by a hands-on workshop for AIChE Volunteers, K-12 teachers, and High School Guidance Counselors.
