(104u) Safety Instrumented Systems - the Operational and Maintenance Phase

The O&M phase of the IEC61511/ISA84 Functional Safety lifecycle is clearly the longest of all the phases. There are a number of requirements that need to be addressed during this phase, a number of which can be used to the benefit of the end users. This presentation uses a case study to review the requirements of the Operation and Maintenance phase, what actions need to be performed and the benefits that can be achieved if these requirements are implemented effectively.
