The Reverse Circular Teaching method is about making the student fully understand the basic concepts of the course and motivate towards successful learning. Effective teaching by the instructor and satisfactory learning by the student can be achieved by normal teaching methods but in order to make the student fully understand the concepts of a real world problem, a new method of teaching is necessary.

In this competitive world, industry is looking for people who are not just bright and smart but also be able to get into productive work right away the moment they are hired. So the need for practical knowledge right at the college level is very much increasing. Design and teach a course to meet the expectations of both industry as well as academia with more of practical content while balancing the theoretical part of it is challenging.

In order to meet that challenge a new effective and practical teaching method has been developed to teach a course at University of Houston, probably the first three credit-hour university course in the US or may be in the world that has been designed to meet direct industrial applications with academic standards. The method is about solving a practical design problem not after learning the theory but learning the theory after understanding the problem.
