ABSTRACT: A five−column Rectisol scheme was set up by commercial process simulation software. Appropriate selection and revision of the thermodynamic models involved in the hypothermal operation conditions were performed according to published and field data resources. On this basis, optimizations of the heat exchanger network and process were done by means of pinch and exergy analyses. —The results show that the adjusted models describe the process perfectly, and the consequent process improvement can help on−site energy conservation
