Nowadays, Environmental impact studies are to vanguard in different options in which the human beings are involved; some of these are made in different fields, such as activities in roles of infrastructure, designing , construction and operation about architectures, extraction of natural resources for production in the economy, among others, it has been parameters for environmental authorities can regulate and it has an agreement about preservation and conservation of the environment.
One example, is air pollution levels which oscillate in alarming levels, especially in the greenhouse contaminants case, one of activities of negative influence in which the environment is constantly exposed is the conversion of glycerol, by-product in the obtaining of biodiesel which has implemented to mitigate and to reduce in one of the gases that are in the atmospheric problem; their production index more and more high by demand in carmakers and the effective properties in the car´s performance. Such it is its importance, those experiments and researches have reached to the point in which early warning in awareness about the byproduct of biofuel hasn´t been enough, and therefore, it has been taken for granted to create of a cycle of recycling, reuse and reduction in presence of catalysts which obtain fuels from glycerol with the same biodiesel´s properties.
With the identification of compounds obtained from conversion of glycerol, as well as, acetaldehyde, propenal, acetol, and certain aromatics, some conclusions had reference about the high percent in these compounds modify the quality in the production of new fuels and it produces negative impacts on the environment, effects on the ground, water and air which environment impact studies; with the help of software EPIWEB, will have life with the execution of this project, through an assessment of physical and chemical properties such as Henry´s Law constant, reaction rate constant, among others, to the compounds previously appointed.
