This session will focus on complex fluids used in drilling, completion and remediation of oil and gas wells. Such fluid systems have formulations (e.g. emulsions, dispersions, microemulsions, nanofluids) having interesting rheological behavior and complex properties and interfacial phenomena. These fluids are important in the advancement of technology for enhanced production, drilling of very deep wells and HPHT wells. These fluids are also interesting from the scientific point of view.
