Whether you are currently a manager or would like to become one, learning how to manage others poses special challenges. Using concepts from The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), this session will explore how personality types influence the way we communicate with and manage others. It will provide insight into your own conduct and how to interact most effectively with different types of colleagues. Find out how preferences affect: • Goal setting • Time management • Conflict resolution • Team building Learn how to lead by: • Recognizing that each person has both strengths and blind spots • Allowing for wide divergence in people's views, attitudes, values, and behaviors • Seeing different operating styles as an opportunity to bring diverse talents and strengths together; and • Using approaches that match situations and people's differing needs, including your own needs and preferences.
