ABSTRACT

Strategic planning, prospective strategic and innovation models have been used in all possible areas, such as military, civil, industrial, social, administrative, techniques, etc., so that the creative aspect of the vision has been core element to achieve particular objectives in the shortest time possible.

This paper describes some models of strategies used by growing businesses, as such as methodologies and planning tools that are the basis for the continued development of any industry or business.

Emphasis is made on models of renowned authors such as Michael Porter, Peter Senge, Robert S. Kaplan, his common tools such as 5 forces and Porter's diamond and Balanced Scorecard and others.

Finally we propose a model for strategic planning in marketing of chemical products used in the oil industry that improves the competitive vision of these products on the market.
