Abstract: In large scale circulating fluidized bed device, in order to analyze the mechanism and regulation which cyclone separator effect on transmission of pressure fluctuation,dynamic pressure of before and after cyclone separator and different locations in cyclone separator was measured under many kinds of conditions according to change the solid circulating rate at the entrance of the cyclone separator. The particles used were FCC catalyst. The experimental results show that in the axial direction of the cyclone separator, with the same solid circulating flow rate, pressure fluctuations of the cyclone side walls are same as pressure fluctuation of the top of the dipleg but different with the inlet's. Pressure fluctuations of the cyclone center have differences with both the top of the dipleg's and the inlet's; In radial direction, from the side walls to the center, the differences of pressure fluctuations between the cyclone and the inlet and the top of dipleg are gradually increasing, and the tendency increased with increasing particle circulating flow rate; In circumferential direction, There are a slight differences of pressure fluctuations in different angles near the cyclone center. Near the side walls, when the solid circulating rate is low, pressure fluctuations in certain areas are different with other areas’. While when the solid circulating rate is high, pressure fluctuations have no difference substantially.
