Chair(s)
Transport phenomena relevant to the development and application of novel heterogeneous and nano-porous materials related to clean energy applications, such as fuel cells, batteries, H2 storage, bio-fuels etc. Studies which illustrate how research is either using or overcoming issues related especially to heat and mass transfer are welcome. Additionally, will consider papers discussing latest trends and techniques in the analysis, modeling and simulation of transport phenomena in reactors, separations and other industrial processes, especially as applicable to mass and heat transfer in energy systems. Papers presented in this session are eligible for the TEP Division best paper award.
