The paper will outline a framework as a practical approach for linking major accident hazards (MAH) to the assured performance of humans engaged on safety critical tasks. The paper will discuss key topics and what HSE are looking for in key areas such as identification of safety critical tasks, human error analysis, procedure development, and competency assurance.
