Women (and men) in science and engineering have struggled with the Career Life Balance.  With the rise of dual income couples and more female breadwinners, the working world has a goal of becoming better at balancing work and family life for both men and women.  As managers women may face additional challenges not experienced by our male counterparts.  Challenges occur in all sectors of the workplace:  private industry, academia and government.  Numerous articles and books have been written on the subject.  Recently the Huffington Post featured and article titled “Do Women Make Better Bosses?”.
