Abstract This paper will present the value addition by processing off-gases from various sources- to convert them into higher value chemicals and also the added benefit of reduced energy and environmental emissions. The presentation covers a variety of schemes, their relative merits, energy efficiency & economics to produce Ammonia from Hydrogen rich off-gases from various sources including Methanol Plants, CO plants, Ethylene plants. The presented schemes will include PSA option to Nitrogen wash, Secondary reforming with & without Gas Heated reforming & an Air Separation unit. The environmental benefit on Ethylene plant (mainly NOx reduction) will also be presented.
