Brief analysis of the floating roof tanks fire accident situation, the floating roof tanks fire occurred in seal ring between the tank shell and the floating deck, and mostly caused by lightning. the floating roof tanks fixed fire equipments in the study. By introducing the concept of reliability, the water sprinkler system and foam extinguishing system for analysis. According to the actual investigation, the proposed specific measures, reasonable to optimize the piping arrangement of the water sprinkler system and foam extinguishing system;enhance maintenance work of the water sprinkler system and foam extinguishing system and fire alarm devices on tank for improvement measures to enhance the role of fixed fire equipments in the fire fighting and rescue.
