Papers are solicited on any aspect of thermal energy storage (TES) technologies including their applications. Existing TES technologies are based on the storage of sensible heat, latent heat such as in phase change materials, heat due to thermochemical reactions and adsorption/desorption reactions, etc. Low temperature TES systems using ice and ice slurries have been used in air conditioning of buildings, and high temperature TES systems are currently developed for Concentrated Solar Power plants for power production. Additional applications include heating of buildings, hot water supply systems and automotive heating, especially electric vehicles, among others.
