(115a) Case Analysis of Oil and Gas Pipeline Deflagration Accidents

Pipeline transportation plays an important role in the petrochemical industry. As a main form of the current oil transport, with a series of advantages of large volume, low cost, and low energy consumption, etc. On the other hand, frequent occurrence of oil and gas pipeline safety accidents in recent years make people recognize the safety and environmental risk of pipeline transport in some new angles. In this paper, the reasons and consequences of typical deflagration accident of oil and gas pipelines are analyzed, and related experience and lessons are summarized. On this basis, the future safety and environmental risk prevention measures and suggestions are put forward.
