(123c) Contract Manufacturing:  Increasing Project Speed & Managing Market Uncertainty

This presentation gives examples where utilizing contract manufacturing was successful in bringing production capabilities on-steam in an extremely short amount of time.  This competence is critical in case of unexpected demand surge, significant internal manufacturing issues or bringing new products to market with increased speed. 

Contract manufacturers are also more capable of diverting resources (equipment and personnel) to other activities during market downturns or incubation periods for new product introduction.  This talk will also share examples that relate to managing market uncertainty by leveraging the flexibility many Toll Manufacturers provide.
