The development of medium scale liquefaction and regasification solutions is becoming increasingly important for the utilization of LNG in remote or island destinations. Although the current market is dampened with low heavy fuel oil prices, many market participants are planning now to develop solutions for power generation and transport markets worldwide. Wärtsilä is a leading solutions provider for LNG in Marine and Power industries and will share the current state of technology for medium scale liquefaction and regasificaiton both land based or floating barge solutions.
