For thermal designing of solar building, physical properties of different structural materials are to be taken into account. Classical building simulators are typically based on system equations that model the physical reality. And are solved at runtime. Linear-graph technique (LGT) presented in the paper elaborates a systematic methodology for modeling of systems with proper number of independent equations, in terms of appropriate variables. Work considers the building elements as analogous to the electrical elements. A mathematical model is formulated for a room model, which helps to evaluate the temperature at various salient points. The evaluated values are verified with the experimental values on a specific date of the month.
