Due to the diminishing of petroleum reserves and the environmental degradation caused by consumption of fossil energy , many attentions have been paid to the application of biomass energy which is acceptable as an abundant renewable energy resource. Najas minor grows in dense clusters with highly branched stemsof which a small fragment could propagate into a thrive one.In this study, we researched the properties of Najas minor to make biofuels .Firstly, the najas minor after heavy metal ionsdegradation were fed into pyrolyser to prepare biofuels. Significant differences of the product was observed compared with only Najas minor pyrolysed.
