Process Safety Poster Session
Monday, April 11, 2016 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm
In order to control the process hazard of the river-crossing natural gas pipeline, HAZOP analysis is performed to qualitatively analyze its potential risk. Based on the results of HAZOP analysis, high risk scenarios are identified. So as to calculate the risk caused by pipeline’s catastrophic rupture, FLACS software which based on CFD data simulation is used to quantitatively calculate the flame propagation and explosion overpressure of the explosion of natural gas. With the results of HAZOP analysis and quantitative calculation, safety measures are put forward to ensure the long-term safe operation of river-crossing natural gas pipeline.
