The global commodity chemicals market is in a state of subtle but constant evolution. Understanding the need and supplying the right product at the right price is often a challenge. Even when the process involves known chemistry, feed stock cost and availability can be limiting, particularly when trying to enter a high volume/low margin market. A concept whereby new products may be manufactured from readily available feed stocks using known chemistry is presented.
