(82d) Distillation of High Purity Products from Feeds Containing Multiple Azeotropes

The basic design principles as well as startup and operation of a distillation systems to be utilized for separating multiple azeotropes for high value materials. We will discuss the determination of critical design factors as well as selection of operating conditions. Details design regarding fabrication, assembly, startup, and operation will be provided.

Cases involving known as well as variable feed compositions will be discussed. The importance of flexible operating conditions will be examined and the relationship to system and operating costs.
