This panel will describe how the need for chemical engineers and technicians to have a working knowledge of cybersecurity has grown in recent years, as plants use digital and wireless technologies to automate their processes. The reasons for this will be discussed. Government, academic, and industry resources available to educate the chemical engineering workforce will be described.
