(49aj) Accelerating Knowledge with Collective Knowledge

Knowledge and experiences in a global company like Chevron is extensive and disseminated in multiple locations, departments, people, etc. Utilizing this knowledge is a challenge due to the size and complexity of the data, infrastructure and human networks that contains the knowledge. This project is an overview of some of the analytical approaches used in Chevron to take advantage of a collective perspective on lessons learned, specifically used to assist the prioritization of information combining engineering design, process safety and other sources of information.
