Hazard Analysis is a systematic approach to identifying, analyzing, and controlling hazards. Because there are many different applications for Hazard Analysis, it is not surprising the Hazard Analysis process comes in many different shapes and sizes and can be overwhelming at times. This presentation will provide first-hand experiences, successes, and failures from over 40-years of Hazard Analysis experience including some of the mistakes commonly seen in the Hazard Analysis process, and lessons learned from work with large production facilities, governmental agencies, and private industry clients.
Participants will gain insight to first-hand experiences, successes, and failures from over 40-years of Hazard Analysis experience. Participants will gain an awareness of some of the mistakes commonly seen in the Hazard Analysis process. Participants will receive tips/suggestions on how to enhance their own Hazard Analysis execution skills as well as how to build on 40+ years of lessons learned.
