(58ab) Comprehensive Improvement of the Performances of Light Cuts Hydrogenation Units

In order to help petrochemical plant managers to increase the availability and reliability of their units, Axens developed a global offer including adsorbents and high performances catalysts to increase the selectivity and the cycle length of light cuts selective hydrogenation units, in the continuity of its very successful and well-known AxTrap, AxSorb and LD series.

Axens has developed advanced purification solutions to cope with all contaminants present in C3 and C4 cuts, especially when processing ROG streams, as well as catalytic solutions that allow improving the performances of the unit. The most recent sacrificial AxTrap and regenerable AxSorb adsorbents in combination with the well-known LD catalysts family will ensure a complete optimization of the purification and catalytic systems.

LD catalysts have demonstrated a significant improvement compared to the competition: either on selectivity and cycle lengths basis.
