(58d) Future of Mobility: A Driver for Change in Energy and Chemicals

Future mobility will be impacted by a drive to low- or zero-emission vehicles to mitigate smog, and accommodate urban migration. Climate change impacts from CO₂ emissions are a global concern. Autonomous vehicles, if adopted, will change patterns in vehicle use and ownership. Optimal mobility options light duty vs. heavy duty transit, and for aviation may require different solutions. This poster will seek to engage discussion on preferred options, and discuss impact on the chemical engineering profession for providing energy, fuels, and chemicals.
