Control valves in the ethylene production process and its associated rotating equipment play a critical role as most of the variables are controlled by these throttling elements which are subject to wear and, in most cases are operating under continuous stress, changes in the control valve behavior will impact different aspects of the plant operation including; efficiency and safety.
