Ms. Grubbe will discuss the various relationships between personal,
professional and business ethics and the implementation of successful occupational
and process safety efforts. She will pull data from known disasters, as well as
examine the root causes of incidents and outline some "ethical failures." This
examination will lead into the link between the corporate "tone at the top" and the
underlying mindset of the executive team. As the leader of the AIChE Center for
Ethical Practice and as a retired corporate executive, the speaker will be speaking
from her four decades of experience.
