(54ao) Operation & Maintenance System of Cosmo's Refineries

COSMO has a lot of IT system in our business area in Refineries. Especially, Operation and Maintenance area have a good tool for the Safety and stable operation. COSMO is developing Total IT system for the “Safety, Seamless, Standardization, Automation and High performance”. We will show our activities that One is APC(Advanced process control) system in Operation Area and another one is A-MIS(Advanced Maintenance Inspection Support System) in Maintenance Area.

APC is introduced for maximum Profitable operation / Minimize loss / Stable operation / Mitigation for the Operator load. A-MIS is introduced as a important system in asset integrity management process (PDCA cycle) for keeping the reliability.

We installed the APC in COKER Unit for improving the oil production and energy conservation with COSMO knowledge and experience. Operation's know-how and knowledge are essential to build Optimized operation.

To achieve safety and stable operation, Cosmo Oil aimed to create comprehensive and reliable maintenance plan. A-MIS can support to create these maintenance plan. A-MIS is the software which shall be used for maintenance activity. All data like drawings, history, specification, thickness data, picture and report can be stored as digital data. A-MIS can coordinate digital data between office and refinery site by using digital potable gadget. We started Maintenance management system with A-MIS from 2008. We achieved to reduce 68% of the refinery facility incident in 2017.
